Earth Day at U-Sense Hostel For You.
Being located in Seville gives us the unique privilege of enjoying a city that combines historical heritage with a strong commitment to outdoor life. Our guests enjoy Maria Luisa Park, the city's great green lung, a place that not only cools the atmosphere on hot days but also acts as a natural refuge that cleans the air we breathe and gifts us serenity. Furthermore, Seville's extensive network of bike lanes invites you to explore the city sustainably, promoting physical exercise and reducing noise pollution. At our hostel, we promote this model of active mobility because we know that a walkable and bikeable city is healthier.
Our commitment
At our hostel, we understand that being hosts implies also being guardians of the territory we share with you. From waste management to the use of clean energy, every action in our accommodations seeks to reduce environmental stress, thus contributing to building a healthier environment for our guests and neighbors in Seville.
This year, we have committed to planting more native plants on our terrace: Rosemary and lavender from the Sierra Morena. We also like Aloe Vera, but we prefer to bet on our local plants.
Some benefits of rosemary according to the Spanish Nutrition Foundation (FEN) are:
1. Improves digestion: relieves acidity and heartburn, in addition to improving intestinal transit. It also helps reduce excess gas and abdominal bloating.
2. Has a diuretic action: it is rich in antioxidants, so it fights against free radicals in the body and eliminates toxins through urine. For this reason, it is recommended to combat fluid retention.
3. Rosemary is good against anemia: it has a high iron content, so it helps treat anemia.
4. It is anti-inflammatory: it can relieve inflammation in joints, the stomach, and even tendinitis.
Promotes circulation: it has antiplatelet properties, thus preventing clots and thrombi.
5. Improves memory: by improving blood circulation, it allows the brain to be better oxygenated.
Promotes appetite: improves salivation and the secretion of gastric juices and is indicated for people who feel a lack of desire to eat.

How can you be responsible on your trip?
If you are staying with us, we invite you to be a responsible traveler. Small gestures during your stay in our accommodations make a big difference:
- Consume local: Support zero-kilometer gastronomy. Less transport equals a smaller carbon footprint.
- Explore local nature: In addition to those already mentioned above, Spain has more incredible natural parks. Walking strengthens your heart and reduces stress.
- Reduce waste: Bring your own bottle; Spanish tap water is excellent and you avoid using unnecessary plastic. Turn off lights and air conditioning when leaving your room; every small gesture saves energy and takes care of our local climate.
